    A law firm in Los Angeles is currently seeking a highly experienced Litigation Of Counsel with a focus on product liability and/or complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The position involves managing communication with clients, supervising associates, working with experts, assisting with fact development and depositions, reviewing and drafting legal documents, and contributing to case strategy development. The role requires superior research, analytical, and writing skills, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, multitasking proficiency, and a background in nationally recognized schools are essential.

    Duties:

    1. Communicating with clients and managing client relationships.
    2. Supervising and mentoring associates within the litigation team.
    3. Collaborating with experts and assisting in fact development and depositions.
    4. Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
    5. Contributing to the development of case strategy.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience.
    • Previous experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
    • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.
    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
    • Bar admission.

    Skills:

    • Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.
    • Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry (preferred).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
    • Multitasking and prioritization abilities.
    • Medical and/or scientific background (ideal).
