BestCo strives to be a pioneer and innovator in the field of confectionery delivery forms of OTC drugs and dietary supplements.**BestCo is currently searching for a **Sanitor/Janitorial - 12-hour Night Shift ($13.30-$15.68)** for our facility in Mooresville, NC.

    **Position Summary:**

    Under general supervision of Sanitation Supervisor does routine light manual work in cleaning offices, halls, restrooms, production area and warehouse areas using equipment such as floor polishers, vacuum cleaners and dusters. Removes waste paper and other refuse daily from all areas. Cleans drinking fountains, office partitions, washrooms, furniture and restrooms and canteen in addition to normal responsibilities.

    **Essential Duties**

    Daily cleaning and logging of all assigned duties on check list.

    Daily cleaning of all facility restrooms, to include cleaning of lavatories, toilets, shower and moping of floors. Fill paper towel and toilet paper dispenser.

    Daily cleaning of shoe sanitizing areas, refilling sanitizing mats and hand sanitizer stations.

    Daily cleaning and restocking of hair net and ear plug stations.

    Daily cleaning of Canteen, emptying waste cans, sweeping and mopping, wiping down of microwaves, counters, and regular table cleanup as scheduled.

    Windows in public areas (lobby, canteen, doors in hallways, door of marketing trailer) to be cleaned as needed.

    Daily mopping of central hallway as needed.

    Daily or Weekly inventory of supplies and ordering per min/max cycle.

    Periodically strip and wax all floors.

    Spreading of ice melt during inclement weather (as needed).

    Other special tasks as directed.

    **Supervisory Responsibility**

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    **Knowledge and Skill Requirements**

    Self starter.

    Ability to work independently without close supervision.

    Ability to handle heavy floor cleaning equipment.

    Ability to lift 20lbs-30lbs and walk, stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of time.

    Available to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

    Possess valid drivers license.

    **Required Qualifications (Education and Experience)**

    Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.

    At least 6 months of sanitation experience in a food processing facility or equivalent training.

    **Preferred Qualifications**

    More than 1 year of sanitation experience with understanding of FDA regulations.

    General understanding of cleaning chemicals.

    Knowledge of cGMPs, cleaning procedures and food safety regulatory requirements is a plus.
