    Elizabeth Physicians is looking to hire a fellowship trained Colorectal Surgeon to join the Colon and Rectal Surgery team at St.

    Elizabeth Health Care system.

    The team currently employs five providers, two MDs and three Advanced Care Practitioners, and take care of the community needs of Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana.

    Practice consists of a full spectrum of elective and emergent colon and rectal surgery including IBD, anorectal disease, pelvic-floor dysfunction, diverticulitis, colon cancer, and multi-disciplinary treatment of rectal cancer.

    The sub-division of Colorectal Surgery is well supported by our 20+ Gastroenterology colleagues in the health care system. A requested 2024 startother timeline inquiries welcomed.
    Colorectal office is well-equipped for performing office-based procedures namely endorectal/endoanal ultrasound, anorectal manometry, biofeedback therapy, banding, infrared coagulation. The goal is to provide state of the art care to patients with pelvic floor disorders. Colorectal Oncology services are provided at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare's Magnet Certified Cancer Center.

    Position includes a high degree of collaboration with partners - including gastroenterologists, medical and radiation oncologists, geneticists, interventional radiologists, and Nurse Navigation programs.

    Call coverage for the division is currently shared with a group of collaborative General Surgeons.

    Certification within six years after training.

    Qualifications Skills in minimally invasive, laparoscopic and robotic surgery techniques Experience with anorectal manometry and endoanal/rectal ultrasound Candidate with active interest in developing a pelvic floor program in collaboration with urogynecologists would be preferred.

    Must be board eligible or board certified in colon and rectal surgery Must have completed a colorectal fellowship training program.
