    Summary:
    Directs warehousing activities for organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate staff members.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Essential Job Duties


    Administers operational procedures for activities such as checking outbound delivery trucks for accuracy, matching inbound shipments to invoices, safe handling of materials both in warehouse and outbound shipping items, and keeping warehouse inventory accurate .

    Directly responsible for organization of all paperwork including; audit copies, inventory transfers, purchase orders, drivers logs, safe logs, etc.

    Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment and makes recommendations for repairs and/or replacement to Regional Supervisor. Participates in planning personnel safety and securing Branch property.

    Regularly meets with staff to coordinate efficient operation of inside sales, outside sales, distribution and records control.

    Directly responsible for staffing branch in accordance with business volume and time of year. Responsible to schedule staff vacations, minimize OT, and provide training to back-up personnel for each job function.


    Ensures that all procedures relating to company finances are monitored in relation to cash procedures including COD Report, Daily Deposit, good/defective returns, and daily reconciliation of driver's logs and safe logs.


    Takes on active role with supervisor and management in defining and reporting market changes that may affect operations and/or profitability.

    Responsible to consult with Regional prior to disciplinary action or personnel changes at Branch

    Branch Manager Functional Duties


    Daily:
    Runs Quick Sales Report, Sales Order M for location

    Reviews and is responsible for COD Report and completion of Daily Deposit

    Reconciles Drivers log vs. Printed invoices vs. Safe log for COD exceptions

    Print inbound/outbound transfers affecting your location

    Review Open RMA Report and process

    Bi-

    Weekly:
    Contacts Regional Manager discussing operations, sales, etc

    Monitors payroll file for OT


    Weekly:
    Writes email summary to Regional Mgr, outlining the week and plan for coming week

    Prints and Reviews User Report

    Reviews COD report for the week; providing email explanation of COD outstanding to

    A/R, Regional, and Auditor

    Reviews Saturday's results

    Review ALL open Purchase Orders and process them

    Reconcile RMA "Warranty Value Report"


    Monthly:
    Conducts monthly inventory count

    Reviews OT Reports

    Rides with each driver at least &fac12; day per month

    Visits customers with Sales Reps at least 1 day per month

    Holds monthly staff meeting to identify areas of improvement

    Reviews Results vs. Budget with Regional Manager

    Reviews Branch staffing vs. Sales/or Season and vacation schedule

    Submits Monthly Vehicle Information to HR

    Schedules time with A/R Staff to review accounts in 60,90 and 120 days

    Balance petty checking account


    Quarterly:
    Reviews Sales/Expenses vs. Budget with Regional Manager

    Review Quarter Results:
    Market Segment, Product Segment, and User Report with Regional

    Contacts and reviews top 40% of installer customer base that is serviced out of your branch


    Annually:
    Reviews Annual Market Segment, Product Segment, and User Reports with Regional

    Provides input for Annual Budget

    Annually gives performance reviews of subordinate staff

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    Manages 2 to15 subordinate staff members in the Sales, Delivery, Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving and Radiator Shop. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Education/Experience:
    Two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Computer Skills:

Individual should have complete understanding of sales process in computer and the relationship to staffing, inventory levels and distribution.
