    FOWLING WAREHOUSE DFW PRIVATE EVENT COORDINATOR

    Fowling Warehouse DFW is a 71,000 Eatertainment venue that can accommodate up to 1,750 people for private events. It includes three warehouses, including an 11,000sq ft VIP Room that's great for an elevated Fowling experience. State of the art AV makes the warehouse great for corporate meetings and teambuilding events.

    At Fowling Warehouse, our Private Event Coordinator will help guests plan a fun and memorable Fowling experience. The Event Coordinator will provide support for the Private Events Department by giving strategic administrative support to the Director of Sales. They are responsible for assisting in the selling, planning, and coordinating of all aspects of private events held within the warehouse. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2 years+ of event sales experience required
    • Possess general knowledge of food and beverage and service procedures
    • Create, grow, and maintain new and current client relationships
    • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills
    • Proficient in software such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Canva, Teams
    • Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays; flexible schedule is a must
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset
    • Creative, energetic outgoing personality
    • Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a busy environment

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Selling, scheduling, and coordinating social and corporate events. For all events 40 guests and under the event coordinator will take full responsibility for arranging these events. They will create contracts and deposit schedules, organize BEOS, as well as oversee the execution of the event. They will be the main contact for the host of the event to refer to with any question pertaining to the planning of their event.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, and budgetary constraints.
    • Support marketing initiatives to drive event sales. Create marketing materials to promote private events and work with marketing team on social media posts
    • Attend weekly sales meetings
    • Report to Director of Sales to help meet and exceed budgeted revenue goals
    • Prospecting and cold calling to develop ongoing relationships with new and repeat business
    • Utilize systems to input revenue sales, guests' information and create follow up tasks
    • Receive and respond to initial event inquiries
    • Assist in scheduling appointments/site tours, meetings and coordinating rentals and specialty items for events as required.
    • Produce & distribute as directed contracts, BEO, resumes & related Catering paperwork, menus and correspondence.

    Compensation: Salary + Commission; based on industry experience
