    Description

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and protocols.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of quality care is provided.
    • Serve as a primary coordinator for all disciplines, ensuring well-coordinated patient care.
    • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient needs.
    • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

    Requirements

    • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date required.
