    Position Summary

    This Maverick Food Pantry Social Mobility Pathways project focuses on multiple dimensions of improving students' access to higher education and their support while in higher education through both capacity building and anti-poverty work. Projects include developing an advisory board for the University's social mobility work, creating basic needs training for the campus community, exploring fund sustainability as well as exploring opportunities to build a Farmer's Market, nutrition program, parenting student support program, and creating a low-income college student simulation.

    • Ability to connect and practice empathy with individuals with lived experience in hardship and basic needs insecurities
    • Ability to think critically and creatively
