    The

    Director, Sales Partnerships


    will develop and sell integrated programs, sponsorships, and partnerships efforts across our digital media, video, newsletters, social, podcasts, subscription and live events platform.


    Working with the SVP, Sales and Partnerships, the Director, Sales Partnerships will develop assets to deliver optimal results for partners, advertisers and B-to-B consumers.

    They will collaborate with the marketing and events teams in selling innovative packages for live and virtual events, sponsored programs, and Sportico digital + PMC targeted media.


    The Director, Sales Partnerships will also develop strategy and implement tactics to create distribution partnerships and corporate revenue for the company's core business, live events and marketing services.

    We are seeking a strategic salesperson with both entrepreneurial spirit and proven experience in selling and in the creation of sponsor and partner programs.

    They must be a strong seller, with 5+ years in sales. This is a great opportunity for an experienced media sales and sponsorship professional.


    Primary Responsibilities:
    Sell partnerships, media, sponsorships, underwriting and consulting services.
    Emphasis on building client direct relationships with agency coverage.
    Prospect, implement sales, sponsorship and partnership development strategy and tactics.
    Identify new leads for subscriptions, distribution partnerships and sponsorship opportunities across industries and key verticals.
    Initiate and close small, medium and large packages with and for brands.
    Achieve overall revenue goals, and quarterly budgets by product.
    Utilize PMC Strategic Solutions Group and liaise with the product, content and audience marketing teams to build programs.


    Requirements:
    Minimum 5+ years sales, marketing, business development experience with start-up or early-stage experience.
    Proven ability to meet aggressive sales goals in a challenging environment.
    Experience in negotiating and implementing partnerships, selling events, and building client-direct programs.
    Interest and experience in the sports, media and/or entertainment sector.
    An analytical and strategic mindset.
    Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

    Typical wage range:
    $100k - $125k plus quarterly paid commission for achieving specific revenue targets.

    Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.

    The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.

    The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.

    As part of our company-wide rollout of PMC's paid healthcare plan, effective for this role July 1, 2024, the company will pay 100% of the monthly health, dental and vision plan premiums for the employee and their family.
