    Description
    Job Summary

    Plastic Fabricators offers global installation, onsite modification, and customer support for precision cleaning and wet processing tools. Assist Quality Assurance/testing of manufactured systems before shipping to customers.
    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Read, understand, and follow work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication methods that meet part tolerances, fit, and finish.
    • Fabricate, weld, and finish plastic to quality standards.
    • Use woodworking tools, power hand tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Competently use measuring instruments and contribute to the company's quality program by following quality procedures.
    • Utilize a personal computer and shop floor control software to track job labor and material usage accurately.
    • Understand and follow company procedures and act safely in a manufacturing environment.
    • Maintain equipment stewardship and contribute to the maintenance and cleanliness of the shop.
    • Perform miscellaneous tasks to support manufacturing, engineering, quality, and quoting departments.
    • Contribute to team effort by achieving results and working cooperatively with team members.
    • Able to safely lift and carry objects up to 50lbs.
    • Able to walk, stand, and work on feet for the duration of the shift.
    Job Requirements
    • 1-2+ years' experience in a similar position.
    • Able to read blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
    • Able to plastic weld.
    • Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.
    • Able to produce accurate and good quality parts on schedule.
    • Able to use power hand tools safely and efficiently.
    • Clean and maintain equipment in good working order.
    • Follow company procedures and maintain a safe work area.
    • Ability to work and contribute within a team.
    Work Environment and Employee Expectations
    • Employees are expected to support the company's business culture and values by demonstrating teamwork, integrity, good judgment, respect, innovation, and communication.
    • Able to safely lift and carry, push or pull objects up to 50lbs.
    • Able to walk, stand, and work on feet for the duration of the shift.
    Transferrable Skills/Experiences
    • Previous plastic welding is preferred but not necessary.
    • Finishing and Trim Carpentry skills and experience.
    • Precision Welding (not a ton of experience necessary).
