Job Description:

Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

Oversee and Manage month end close process in collaboration with our partner organization.
Work closely with the Practice's accounting team to ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition and financial reporting.
Ensure Financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP.
Work closely with the Accounting and Finance team in preparing and reviewing ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis.
Ensure timely preparation and review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation activities and financial reporting.
Coordinate external accounting needs, working closely with independent accounting and tax firms.
Identify areas of process improvement, recommend changes, and execute improvements.
Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Qualifications

Accounting Degree
1-4 years of accounting experience
Experience with workday or another ERP platform is a plus.
Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
Proven knowledge of GAAP, FASB
Strong excel skills.
