    Job Title: Travel Med Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN)

    Assignment Type: Local Contract

    About the Role:

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a local contract nurse. As a Travel MS/Tele RN, you will care for adult patients recovering from medical conditions and surgical procedures, while closely monitoring their cardiac status.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Care for Adult Patients: Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting.
    • Monitor Cardiac Rhythms: Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry alerts.
    • Administer Medications: Administer medications, perform assessments, and update care plans.
    • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
    • Document Patient Status: Document patient status and care interventions accurately.

    Requirements:

    • RN License: Active RN license (Compact license preferred).
    • BLS and ACLS Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required.
    • Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
    • Proficiency in Telemetry Monitoring: Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
    • Strong Time Management Skills: Strong time management, adaptability, and critical thinking skills.
