    Process Controls Engineer #983074
    Job Description
    Troubleshoot, test and repair control systems on all manufacturing equipment. Modify PLC programming and automation/control systems to enhance performance and to accomplish quality and Continuous Improvement goals.
    Monitor, troubleshoot, test and repair industrial robotics systems, jigs and fixtures. Provide advice and training to maintenance technicians in the upkeep of controls and robotics systems. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive. The needs of the company may require individuals to perform other functions.

    Primary Responsibilities


    Troubleshoot, test, and repair PLC/Industrial Control Systems on installed equipment, Maintain shop floor electrical control systems, train and direct maintenance personnel on system repair procedures, troubleshooting and resolving electrical problems, Monitor, troubleshoot, test, and repair installed robotic systems, jigs and fixtures, Train and direct maintenance personnel on repair and troubleshooting procedures on industrial robotics systems, Modify PLC programming and control systems as required to optimize quality and performance, Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering to determine control system requirements/specifications for new equipment and equipment upgrades, Responsible to work safely and implement all safety measures and procedures.

    Support and ensure compliance with current quality and environmental systems

    Years of Experience

    Minimum of 3 years' controls experience in a manufacturing facility

    Degree Preferred

    BS in Engineering

    Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications

    3-phase systems, motor control and VFD experience required.
    Understanding of process controls and instrumentation.
    Experience in troubleshooting electrical circuits.
    Experience in PLC programming.
    Demonstrated interpersonal skills to support design team, and shop cooperation.
    Proficiency with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical, and Microsoft Office products.
    Extremely organized and detailed oriented
    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
    Mitsubishi and/or Fanuc robots
    Allen Bradley
