is seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3 in Redondo Beach, CA.
**US Citizenship is required.**
Seeking a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer or a Staff Mechanical Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our South Bay Vehicle Engineering organization
This role will be located in either Redondo Beach or El Segundo, California.
Responsibilities:

Provide technical oversight and technical support to other disciplines as required.

Responsible for cost and schedule associated with SOW.

Lead internal program, customer, and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates.

Interface with relevant stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers, to ensure the production of robust and maintainable configurations.

Consults on design and integration of composite materials and their applications.

Leverages advanced knowledge of aircraft structure concepts including best practices for material selection of materials and metallic/composites trade analyses.

Perform design-related tasks utilizing the NX, Fibersim, and Teamcenter tool suites.
