    Role Overview: As the first Product Associate at Monarch Collective, you will have the unique opportunity to help influence the strategic direction of the company and deliver tangible impact and value creation for the enterprise through data. You will champion a data-driven culture for decisions by building foundational data products and analyses that support critical, cross-functional projects. The role works closely with members of the senior leadership team to construct recommendations that help our operators achieve repeatable, scalable growth. This role is based in Chicago, IL with a Hybrid in-office schedule, and reports to the VP, Product & Analytics.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with management and technology teams across the organization to build business intelligence dashboards, data analyses, and data products that align with overall strategic objectives
    • Partner with operational leaders to transform how Monarch Collective leverages data, replacing spreadsheets and gut-led decisions with automation and structured analysis
    • Leverage our data to develop informed recommendations that improve operational processes as well as customer and owner product experiences
    • Partner with technology team to build additional data infrastructure, tooling and/or monitoring to continuously measure performance metrics and update competitive intelligence
    • Presentations and analysis-driven recommendations to senior leadership
    • Support for other ad hoc strategic data & product projects and initiatives

    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years technical experience in product, engineering, or data-related role (e.g. product management, data engineering, analytics/BI, data science/ML, management consulting with a technical specialization)
    • 3+ years of experience with data analytics programming tools like Python, R, SQL. Familiarity working with raw data from relational databases is a plus
    • Experience using BI tools to design and build dashboards that produce actionable insights (e.g. Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
    • Experience summarizing and communicating complex data insights in consolidated, simplified recommendations and executive communications
    • Advanced Excel knowledge
