    We are currently recruiting for the position of:
    Repair & Maintenance Technician - San Jose Area, CAThe Repair & Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing and/or coordinating repair and maintenance activities for several commercial retail Save Mart Superstores, within an assigned geographical area


    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
    Monitor, maintain and perform standard repairs and maintenance at several commercial grocery establishments.
    Assess and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-site.
    Execute short lead time projects.
    Perform preventative maintenance on personal, as well as company owned tools and equipment.
    Read, interpret, and implement work orders and schedule.
    Acquire materials needed to complete repairs/work orders.
    Document facilities maintenance requirements and maintain appropriate records of work performed.

    Maintain accurate information and records on purchasesCorrectly facilitate and submit all reports, documents and records as requestedCorrectly utilize work order systemPerforms other duties as assigned Hiring pay range:
    $ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring repairs, drywall repairs, and carpentry work.
    Thorough knowledge and experience to safely operate a wide array of hand and power tools.
    Must supply and maintain hand tools and power tools to accomplish daily duties.
    Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to work independently, with flexibility, and self-reliance.
    Ability to perform under pressure, with strong organizational and time management skills.

    Ability to perform job tasks while following all safety guidelinesExperience:

    Minimum of 1 year related experienceEducation: High school or GED and/or equivalent experience/trainingOther: Valid Class C Driver's License requiredMust be able to work overtime, when needed.

    Frequent travel consisting of driving to and from various locationsMay lift up to 100 lbs on an occasional basisMay push and pull up to 30 lbs on an occasional basisWork Environment:
