    Job Summary Alaska OverviewConocoPhillips is Alaskas largest crude oil producer and largest owner of exploration leases, with approximately 1.6 million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2021.

    The company produced an average of 197 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2021.

    ConocoPhillips has major ownership interests in two of North Americas largest oil fields, both located on Alaskas North SlopeKuparuk, which the company operates, and Prudhoe Bay.

    Additionally, ConocoPhillips operates the Alpine Field located on the Western North Slope. The company has an ownership interest in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.

    DescriptionAs a key member of the Alaska Logistics and Materials team, the Logistics and Materials (L&M) Analyst will lead implementation of data availability and architecture, including identifying data sources and data requirements for logistics and materials.

    The position will collaborate and interface with the Logistics and Materials team to support the implementation and improvement of L&M related digital tools.


    Job Description Your responsibilities may include:

    Act as a resource to IT for the technology and data needs of the logistics and materials organizationDevelop dashboards to enable monitoring and track logistics and inventory performanceComplete analytics on logistics data in support of:Logistics sourcing effortsKey logistics initiativesEnhancing transportation efficiency, andReducing logistics network costsPrepare reports/visualizations to support analysesMaintain logistics and materials process guidelines (Routing Guide)Evaluate historical, status quo data practices and identify opportunities for improvementDevelop analytical tools to proactively identify incorrect and/or missing information across our L&M data sets, and implement additional tools, processes, etc.

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employerBachelors Degree or higher in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent3 + years experience in data analysisIntermediate proficiency across Microsoft Office suite, including PowerBIWilling and able (with or without reasonable accommodations) to travel 20% on an annual basisPreferred: 3+ years experience in SAP1+ years of experience with purchase orders, purchase requisitions and material managementIntermediate proficiency with logistics management systems, database management, and data analysis toolsIntermediate knowledge of North Slope Oil & Gas OperationsAbility to develop commonly used logistics modeling tools to support decision making and planning effortsAbility to analyze operational data and provide actionable insightsDelivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goalsBuilds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethicalBuilds strong relationships based on trust and seeks opportunities to collaborate across the matrix/organizational boundaries to achieve business goals
