Job summary
The Electrical Engineer provides technical support design technical evaluations and Electrical Project Engineering support for the Electricity Segment Power Plants. This responsibility involves a wide range of complex issues and small to medium capital improvement projects.The position requires proficiency in applying sound electrical engineering principles and working knowledge of industry practices standards equipment.
This role involves supporting the Plants Projects teams developing scope electrical design budgets facility capital improvement projects performing power system studies including arc flash studies at both new operating facilities assisting with ordering equipment services preparing specifications reviewing supplier information developing procedures related equipment maintenance inspection testing providing engineering field support during planned forced outages ensuring that electrical systems meet statutory regulatory requirements coordinating field-related activities in conjunction with Power Plant Management strictly enforcing safety procedures as required by CAPP OSHA possessing at all times valid driver's license acceptable auto insurance carrier travelling extensively approximately percent working time plants United States internationally other countries.
