- Perform detailed examinations of company-owned and customer-owned lifting equipment
- Ensure equipment meets required standards at all branch locations and customer sites
- Verify the availability and examination of all items for inspection
- Ensure adequate storage space for lifting equipment at Brandon Hire Station sites
- Calibrate workshop tools annually
- Examine and calibrate testing equipment in specialist branches
- Conduct annual warehouse racking inspections
- Participate in necessary training for branch safety
- Maintain and provide records of inspection reports
- Understanding of compliance and HSE regulations
- LEEA Foundation Certificate – Essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Practical knowledge of lifting equipment and low-level access machines
- Full LEEA qualifications preferable
- Valid driving licence
