- Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydronic and HVAC systems.
- Perform general and preventive maintenance of building systems and production equipment.
- Fabricate, paint, and perform structural repairs.
- Maintain routine records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs in a regulated environment.
- Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas.
- Assist in prevention and monitoring activities for safety program.
- Working closely with manufacturing to provide effective maintenance support.
- Perform grounds keeping work as needed including snow removal.
- Assist production staff or other areas of site operations as needed
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of production equipment.
- Assist in SOP revisions and quality system maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydronic and HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of building safety codes and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
- Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Must be able to sit, stand, climb, crouch, & crawl.
- Must be able to lift lbs.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance and or Fermentation Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 years work experience in industrial maintenance in leu of degree may be considered.
- Experience with bioprocessing equipment such as fermenters and related equipment a plus.
- Knowledge in cGMP/ISO compliance requirements a plus.
- Ability to work some weekends and overtime on short notice as emergency repairs require.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory environment a PLUS.
