- Prepare journal entries and review of journal entries prepared and recorded by team members.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
- Provide strategic guidance on financial matters, offering insights to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to support organizational goals and initiatives.
- Drive process improvements to streamline accounting procedures and enhance efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in corporate accounting.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with a track record of mentoring and developing staff.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
