What You'll Do:

As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a meaningful role in general clinic administrative work, lab work, and clinical support under the direction of the Dentist. The Dental Assistant will prepare and break down examination rooms for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the dentist. They will also assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment. They will also assist with scheduling the patient's next appointment and coordinating treatment plans and coverage with the billing team. They will also present treatment plans to the patients and their families and schedule them accordingly. Our patients may require additional support for successful visits, and the Dental Assistant will help the team with distraction methods and stabilization during visits.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years' experience as a dental assistant.
Experience using computers and electronic dental records.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience coordinating treatment plans and assisting with scheduling.
Comfort working with children and adults as well as neurodiverse individuals.

Licensure/Certification:

Current Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer License.
Certification or associate degree from an accredited dental assisting program.
