    We are currently seeking resumes from qualified Project Directors to join our Cultural Resourcesteam. Remote work is available for this role and we encourage applicants from AZ, NV, and UT to apply.
    The purpose of this role is to develop, direct, and complete archaeological projects (survey, monitoring,testing, and data recovery). Projects may be located in the Southwest and/or Great Basin.

    Below is a list of duties for this position:

    Duties:

    Perform archaeological research and conduct site file searches at federal, state, tribal, and private repositories
    Develop, direct and participate in all types of archaeological investigations
    Adhere to project schedules
    Prepare technical reports documenting the results of fieldwork and archival research
    Perform technical and copy editing for cultural resource submittals
    Evaluate and make recommendations regarding ARHP/NRHP eligibility and treatment of, as well as project effects to, cultural resources
    Assess significance and identify appropriate National Register criteria of eligibility by applying aspects of integrity
    Prepare graphics for reports using ArcGIS or coordinate graphic preparation with GIS staff
    Develop research designs and work plans
    Develop project scopes and budgets
    Manage/track budgets, schedules
    Understand and assist clients with state, federal, and tribal cultural resources compliance
    Coordinate with sub-consultants and vendors
    Work independently and resolve project challenges with minimal supervision
    Communicate effectively and work closely with fellow employees
    Perform travel that may include overnight stays for an extended period
    Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills)

    :

    Minimum MA or MS in anthropology, archaeology, or closely related field (Ph.
    D. preferred)
    Minimum of 5 years' experience in Cultural Resource Management (CRM) and a minimum of 2 years experience supervising and managing projects, junior staff, andpreparing technical reports
    Understanding of Southwest and/or Great Basin prehistory and/or history, archaeological method and theory, and applicable federal and state CRM/HP laws
    Experience successfully directing all phases of cultural resource investigation
    Ability to qualify at a supervisory level for the state (AZ, NV, UT) and federal archaeological permits in
    Successful management and completion of projects on time, within budget
    Experience using GPS, GIS (Tablet, ArcGIS 10)
    Ability to generate, organize, and maintain accurate field records that meet state and federal standards and guidelines
    Ability to perform fieldwork in adverse conditions (rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures, arid environments, dense vegetation) and carryup to 25 pounds of equipment
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Overnight and/or out-of-state travel required
    Valid Driver's License, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier
    Working Conditions and Environment:


    Will need the ability to establish rapport quickly with others working on the same project and be able to promote a positiveteam environment.

    Working knowledge of dealing with a diverse population while using tact, diplomacy, and respect.
