    Position Details:

    • Title: Legal Assistant
    • Client: TN ECD
    • Duration: 12 Months
    • Location: Nashville, Tennessee
    • Work Mode: Onsite

    Responsibilities:

    • Draft and process contractual agreements and supporting documents in line with state, federal, and internal requirements.
    • Manage a high volume of document drafting projects and support special projects assigned by agency attorneys.
    • Collaborate with the Legal Liaison to update project trackers and provide contract status updates to program staff.
    • Gather contract data for the Tennessee Central Procurement Office and Comptroller's Office as requested.
    • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by the ECD Legal division.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 3-5 years of experience in a professional setting.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the State's Edison database.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
    • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
