Excellent Opportunity for an MD,PA or NP (w/Supervising Physician), up to 3 hrs weekly, flexibleschedule no weekends and no hospitalrounds to work in the Sauk County Jail medical unit Our Medical Director provides afull range of on-site medical services for inmates, in addition toour on-site nurses working 8 hours a day to manage regularhealthcare duties. Southern Health Partners has welldeveloped policies, procedures and practices based on 20+ years'experience of jail services. SHP provides all on-site medical staffing in a safe,secure medical unit within the jail. The provider, who is an independent contractor, willmonitor and provider oversight for provided medical services, on aflexible schedule, a couple of hours per week. On-call responsibility to our Medical Staffwill be needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider toprovide primary care, work as part of a team with correctional andmedical staff, all the while providing a valuable service. SHP provides a monthly payment and medical malpracticeinsurance coverage for your workservices. Duties: Visits the facility to review care, seepatients, prescribes medication, general referrals for outsideproviders; Countersigns any orders or programs notes seenby medical staff; Supports standards of care and supervises caregiven by other professionals, providing instruction asneeded; Keeps patient information confidential asrequired under privacy laws andregulations; Requirements:

• Must have clear background for securityclearance;
Must have current licensure as required forjob duties; Experience in Family Practice and/or EmergencyMedicine is a plus.
