    Pacific International is partnered with a growing leader in the Industrial Manufacturing sector. As the company strives to grow, they are going through a significant operational excellence journey.

    They are in need of a Continuous Improvement Leader to help drive these improvements to the delivery and efficiency of one of their key manufacturing plants. The cultural approach is crucial for the group to continue with its success, as they have a strong reputation in the market as a group that is successful because of their people. They need the right individual to integrate into the team and strategically drive change and innovation so that they continue to serve market leaders in a variety of growing sectors, such as automotive and EV, renewables, and automation.

    With this, we are working to find a lean leader to drive excellence throughout the site and help to create a lean-focused culture. They will help to develop the site's lean roadmap and support operations in accessing and utilizing Lean and Operational Excellence tools. This professional will be able to be a hands-on Lean expert, with an agile set of skills to ensure they can identify waste reduction opportunities and successfully drive growth and capability.

    This professional will need to be a hands-on and strategic leader, well-experienced with Lean manufacturing processes, in an Industrial manufacturing environment.

    They will report directly to the site leader, with endless opportunities for growth and organizational influence.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • 4-8 years of professional leadership experience in executing continuous improvement/Lean/Six Sigma efforts and enabling efficiency, and effectiveness resulting in demonstrable tangible financial benefit.
    • Lean Master or Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent required.
    • Successful experience guiding team progress for continuous improvement projects/programs.
    • Experience designing, implementing, and leading continuous improvement projects/programs.
    • Has a thorough understanding of cycle time reduction, waste reduction, yield improvement, productivity, OEE, and throughput improvement.
    • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience personally leading continuous improvement or operational excellence events.
    • Ability to effectively coach, mentor, inspire, and train others in industry standards (VSM, LMS, 5S, TPM, SMED, MPS, TPI, SD, 7 Wastes, Standard Work, various 3P, problem-solving, and action planning.)
    • Proven leadership skills to coach and lead teams to fully deliver objectives and projects.
    • Experience establishing trust as a credible leader and partnering with site leadership as a trusted member of the leadership team.
    • Ability to be a self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Advanced problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail and numerical aptitude.
    • The ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
