    Job Description

    The role will be part of the NAM Application Engineering team in the Chemical and Monitoring Solutions business.

    The individual will have strong communication skills as well as technical expertise in controls, systems integration engineering and project management.

    The selected candidate will be working from the Trevose, PA office.


    You will:
    Provide equipment recommendations, specifications, operational documentation, control algorithm programming, and general hardware and software support

    Work with equipment system integrators and other equipment suppliers to develop and execute custom engineered solutions

    Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for customers and/or the CMS field sales force via telephone or on-site at customer locations

    Drive process improvement and enhancement tools to increase team's productivity

    Assist the CMS field sales team with equipment proposals, providing system design recommendations, custom design scope, standard equipment selection, and other technical input, as required to meet customer application needs


    Increasing quality sales opportunities by developing relationships with the field sales and service teams within assigned region and/or product focus areas.

    Manage vendor deliverable schedules to align with order commitments. Responsible for components logistic coordination on all custom NAM projects

    Qualifications/Requirements


    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or other technical discipline) from an accredited college or university or a minimum of 5 years of experience with chemical feed and/or automation products.

    Fluent in English (written and verbal)

    Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America, typically less than 15% of the time, but occasionally higher

    Prior experience or working knowledge of Suez IP products (True Sense, ICC and PaceSetter) or open market equivalent platforms is preferred

    Ability to implement enhancement solutions using self-developed tools (Excel, VBA, SharePoint and etc.) is preferred

    Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, problem solving and facilitation skills

    Expert in the use of Microsoft Office tools and Adobe acrobat

    Ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight, while demonstrating significant problem-solving ability with an unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments

    Ability to speak effectively before groups and customers, clients, and other employees of organization

    Preference for AutoCAD, PLC programming and Water Treatment processes, controls and programming in chemical applications experience
