    Mechanical Engineer

    Job Overview:

    We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to be part of our team at Microlab, a division of RF Industries (RFIL). Your main task will be designing and validating new products for our Schrofftech product line and providing support for production.

    • System level mechanical product concepts and architectures
    • Detailed product and parts design
    • Vendor technical interface for prototype builds and production assistance
    • Assembly and validation of new designs
    • Writing and maintaining product-related documentation
    • Collaborating with product managers on future developments

    Requirements:

    • 4-year degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
    • Hands-on mechanical skills
    • Proficient in SolidWorks software
    • Highly motivated self-starter with good communication skills
    • Organized with multitasking abilities
    • Experience with hand and power tools
    • Track record of cost-effective and easy-to-assemble designs
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, & Word
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in electro-mechanical environments preferred
