    As a pediatric home health nurse with Amazing Care, you'll play a crucial role in delivering skilled nursing care tailored specifically to our pediatric clients. Under the guidance of our Pediatric Branch Manager and in alignment with physician-prescribed care plans and agency protocols, you'll provide attentive and specialized care that prioritizes the unique needs of each child.

    • High Acuity month-old female trach/vent gtube Saturday and Sunday days (7a-7p) SA
    • Low Acuity year-old female gtube needs Friday Saturday/Sunday days (8am-3pm) SA
    • Low Acuity year-old female gtube/enema/Cath Q2HR/O2/cough assist needs Mon-Fri nights (6p-6a) Sat/Sun nights(6p-6a) Sat/Sun days (7a-5p) SA
    • High Acuity year-old female trach/vent/CO2 Mon-Fri (7a-6p) Sat and Sun (7a-5p) Schertz
    • High Acuity year-old male trach/vent gtube Fri/Sat nights (6p-6a) Helotes
    • Low Acuity month-old male gtube/IV Mon-Fri (7a-5p) SA
    • Low Acuity-78250 Mon-Fri days 6-month-old male gtube (7a-7p) SA
    • High Acuity Tues -Fri days (7a-7p) 6-year-old female trach/vent/gtube SA

    Job Responsibilities:

    In your role, you'll work closely with registered nurses to promote and maintain the health and well-being of our pediatric clients. This includes implementing rehabilitative measures, educating clients and caregivers on self-care techniques, and participating in care planning sessions to ensure continuity of care. You'll also assist in specialized procedures as directed by physicians and registered nurses, ensuring that all equipment and materials are prepared and utilized with strict adherence to aseptic techniques. Staying informed about developments and trends in pediatric nursing care is essential, and we encourage ongoing learning and professional growth. By actively communicating with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals, you'll contribute to a collaborative care environment that prioritizes the best interests of our pediatric clients.
