Radiology Assistant - Rotating FRI, SAT, SUN 9a to 930p and evenings 3p to 1130p Monday - ThursdayBLS REQUIREDAccepts 1st time travelersWill assist with ambulation, turning and repositioning, Call lights, & Cleaning of equipmentSpecial Procedures/

Unit Details:

• Performs a variety of task(s) that assists the technologist and department with daily operations and preparation of patients for diagnostic procedures
• Distributes modality forms and brochures, pamphlets, etc, regarding Radiology procedures;informational purposes.
• Assists patients to and from imaging table.

Also assists Technologists in positioning patients in, at, or on equipment or imaging tables using standard lifting and positioning techniques.

Maintains imaging room and immediate radiology area in a clean, orderly and safe manner bycollecting and removing soiled linen, cleaning radiographic tables, chairs, counters and otherequipment with appropriate cleaner.

Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills. Degree or HS Diploma notrequired.

Special Equipment:
Observes patients during transport and provides for their safety through basic knowledge of lifesupport equipment such as oxygen tanks, IVAC's and IV's
