    About the Role

    As the Manager, you will be part of the Telenor Procurement Company (TPC) ISIT Sourcing team and will report to the VP ISIT.

    You will liaise to deliver key projects with the Category Directors, working closely with corporate in Telenor and all of the Business Units.

    Your role is pivotal in identifying and realizing cost-saving initiatives that deliver real business value in the category across all of Telenor's Business Units and to the Customers we deliver services.


    Main tasks include:


    Develop a comprehensive understanding of the ISIT category, contribute to end-to-end ISIT strategy development and perform analysis to support strategy work.

    Collaborate with functional stakeholders for preparing and executing the strategy, innovative analysis, and proactively addressing procurement needs.

    Identify, lead, and execute cost-saving initiatives that deliver value in the procurement of goods and services for the company.

    Prepare and lead TCO analysis during procurement processes and participate in negotiations.

    Manage resources and stakeholders in a sourcing process.

    Implement category sourcing strategy and a skilled approach to vendor management.

    Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and achieve targets.

    Review and assess progress, savings, and targets.

    Develop and prepare periodic reports on all procurement activities.

    Ensure contract management, implementation, and follow-up activities.

    Understand the supply market and perform thorough supplier prequalification for the category.

    Maintain an awareness of the latest buying techniques and theories and develop applications within the company.

    Manage contracts and price book relevant to the ISIT Area.

    Handle disputes with global suppliers.

    To succeed in this role, you would need to be/have:

    Strong business knowledge and experience in the telecommunications landscape.

    Deep insight into end-to-end Sourcing process and strategies.

    Strong ability to communicate and interact effectively across organizational and cultural boundaries, internal and external.

    Customer-centric attitude & approach.

    Result-oriented, demonstrating excellent collaboration abilities.

    Able to work with a high degree of execution power and passion.

    Understand the vendor market.

    Strong analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

    Demonstrate commitment, maturity, flexibility, and speed in response to business challenges.

    Possess Commercial and negotiation skills.

    Highly creative and innovative mindset.

    Knowledge of sourcing techniques, demand management & demand forecasting methods.

    Familiar with contract setup activities such as specifications, definitions, and contract T&C setup.

    High level of integrity and ethics.

    Qualification and Experience Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, or Business or equivalent. MBA will be preferred.

    Minimum 5 years in a procurement/contract management/vendor management role, preferably with experience in the IT area with a telecom context.

    Customer-facing and customer engagement experiences.

    Proficient in the use of MS Excel, performing data analyses and correlation using processing tools like ThinkCell, Excel, or Tableau to be able to produce and draw conclusions based on the analysis.

    Strong communication and organizational skills.
