    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with ARRT registration, CT certification, BLS (AHA), and at least one year of specialty experience.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a diagnostic radiology unit completing a variety of X-ray procedures
    Patient population and case types consistent with general diagnostic radiology
    Schedule consists of three 10-hour shifts and one 9-hour shift per week, with day and evening hours
    Shifts may include Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday or Saturday
    Utilizes Epic EMR for charting
    Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) required for assignment
    Perform radiographic procedures as ordered, including positioning, immobilizing, and transferring patients
    Operate X-ray equipment and practice radiation safety measures according to protocol
    Administer contrast as directed by a radiologist following established protocols
    Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and radiologists
    Evaluate image quality and coordinate examination workflow for timely patient care
    Supervise and mentor student radiographers in the clinical setting
    Compliance with sterile technique, infection prevention, and department supply management is expected
    Permanent staff must be separated from any related facility for at least one year to be eligible

    Requirements
    Active ARRT registration and CT certification required
    Current BLS (AHA) certification required and must not expire during assignment
    At least one year of experience in radiology required
    Epic EMR experience preferred
    License required if applicable
