    We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team in Marietta, Ohio. The Tax Manager will advise clients on tax implications, evaluate alternative actions, and identify methods to lessen tax burden. This role involves applying knowledge to understand potential tax issues, recognizing and communicating potential risks, and networking and business development.

    • Ensure clients comply with applicable authorities while minimizing tax and reporting burdens.
    • Ensure tax team complies with Firm policies and standards.
    • Identify research needs, clearly frame issues, and concisely report analysis.
    • Build relationships with clients to discuss federal tax concerns.
    • Assist in developing efficient methods to maximize client benefits.
    • Provide tax consultations and communicate high-level tax concepts.
    • Develop a strong knowledge base through education and research.
    • Understand technical and practical issues in taxation.
    • Manage engagement workflow, resources, and billing.
    • Lead and provide career guidance for the tax team.
    • Provide performance feedback to associates and senior associates.
    • Provide technical tax advice and planning services.
    • Communicate with the IRS and tax authorities.

    Requirements:

    • 5-8 years of prior experience in taxation.
    • Prior supervisory experience.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax, Accounting, or related field.
    • CPA certification.
    • Experience with federal tax compliance, tax analysis, and tax research.
    • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
    • Attention to detail and ownership.
    • Professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.
    • Proven success with business development.
    • Able to travel up to 25%.
