Job Description

As a Security Officer - Residential Full-Time Patrol in Sunny Isles Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with professional customer service. You will conduct routine rounds, help manage access points, and communicate clearly while documenting observations. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
Control access at entry points by observing visitor and contractor activity, confirming authorization when required, and directing individuals to appropriate locations per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
Communicate with property management, residents, and responding public services as needed, using radios and/or phones to relay timely information and support incident resolution.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
Have a state, county, and/or city issued security license preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
