    JOB SUMMARY:
    This role focuses on maintaining assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive manner following established procedures and supervisor's directions while upholding high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

    Minimum eligibility requirements:
    • One year of related experience preferred
    • Ability to read, write, and follow directions effectively
    • Capacity to stay calm under pressure
    • Strong teamwork and individual work skills
    • Honest, fair, dependable, and respectful of others' rights and privacy
    • Compassion for working with the elderly
    • Meet health requirements and pass a background check
    • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

    Essential functions:
    • Follow cleaning schedule and instructions
    • Maintain cleanliness of residential homes and public areas
    • Perform various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, polishing, washing, disinfecting, and restocking supplies
    • Collaborate with maintenance for new resident move-ins
    • Report unsafe conditions and equipment issues
    • Ensure janitor closets and supply rooms are organized
    • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

    Customer service:
    • Ensure excellent customer service to all customers
    • Courteous and professional interaction with residents and team members
    • Prioritize resident safety and satisfaction
    • Welcome and assist visitors in a friendly manner
    • Professional communication and cooperation with the supervisor and community personnel

    Residents' rights:
    • Uphold regulations regarding residents' rights

    Other:
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures
    • Flexibility to perform necessary duties beyond the job description
    • Work under scheduled hours with the possibility of overtime
    • Subject to frequent interruptions and emergency conditions
    • Handle and be exposed to chemicals within safety guidelines

    Physical/sensory requirement:
    • Medium work involving physical exertion
    • Move intermittently throughout the day
    • Function effectively with residents and staff
    • Ability to work with individuals in a variety of conditions and circumstances
