    Job Description
    Ent is looking for a DevOps Engineer Sr to join our cross functional platform team.

    This position would be responsible for handling the pipeline work to get our software safely and securely deployed to our cloud environment, allowing the development staff to concentrate on developing the next great feature to delight our members.

    This person needs to be comfortable working on a cross functional team made up of Network Operations, Application Security, Security Operations, and other developers.

    This person will be solving problems to keep our systems highly available, performant, and facilitate the safe deployment of new code and cloud infrastructure.

    This person will be solving challenging problems, collaborating across teams, and passionate about having an impact on a growing team and organization.

    Essential Functions

    Strategic Cloud / Automation & Guidance: Key player in enterprise datacenter modernization initiative by researching, designing, recommending, and implementing an Azure cloud infrastructure which supports global business applications and operations.

    Assist in the development of processes and practices as it relates to the migration of workloads to Azure. Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on Azure that are scalable, reliable, secure, and meet performance requirements. Support architectural design and new cloud service implementations utilizing industry best practices. Assist with the planning and migration of legacy applications to the Azure Cloud. May assist other team members with questions related to cloud services as a subject matter expert.
    Tactical Cloud Support /

    Maintenance Activities:
    Provision, configure, administrate, automate, monitor, and support enterprise Cloud services. Through automation, enforce continuous compliance to operation and security standards. Perform operational Architecting for activities which include platform upgrades, server patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting. Provide periodic off-hours on-call support for production and development environments. Manage security logging, monitoring, and alert triage and participate in security incident response and investigation.

    Enable Cloud Development / Automation:
    Developing pipelines (currently in Azure DevOps) to build and deploy code and infrastructure into our Azure cloud environment. Training of developer staff on how to release code, utilize the pipelines, and local Kubernetes development. Mentoring and training other DevOps engineers. Researching enabling technology based on the future needs of the development staff and their feature roadmaps.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Architecting, or related technical field
    8+ years' combined technical IT related experience to include at least:4+ years' experience in a DevOps role


    Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa.

    For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.


    Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
    Azure experience, in particular with Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings
    Understanding of cloud security
    Understanding of Azure platform and network security.
    Understanding of Azure identity and access management.
    Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python, etc.)
    Able to maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
    Strong interpersonal skills used in developing strong working relationships and effective listening skills.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Excellent decision-making, problem solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
    Experience with utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in a cloud environment
    Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools, preferably Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
    Knowledge of Git source control
    Experience on a Scrum/Kanban team
    Team play that fully embraces the DevOps culture, eliminating barriers and bridging moats
    (preferred) Network skills.
    (preferred) Experience with tools such as HELM, Ansible, Terraform
    (preferred) Kubernetes/Docker expertise


    Certifications Required:

    Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft


    MCSA:
    Cloud Platform, Microsoft


    MCSE:
    Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, Microsoft


    MCSA:
    Linux on Azure, ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional, TOGAF 9 Certification or other related industry certification. preferred

    Additional Information
    The salary range for this position is:: $117,250 to $153,884 (I18)

    This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
