Overview:

This position encompasses three stores in one building. The Convenience store, the ACE store, and the Feed Warehouse. We are asking for flexibility to work in all areas as needed. We are looking for associates who deliver friendly, professional, and timely service to all customers who shop the store.

Essential Duties:

• Loading feed and merchandise in customer vehicle.
• Point of sale and cash handling experience
• Customer Service, answering telephone calls and questions.
• Fill LP bottles and vehicles.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks by using a hand dolly, forklift, or pallet jack as
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Perform light maintenance to building and surrounding areas as needed.
• Advise management on inventory related matters.
• Ensure all inventory related documentation is complete, accurate, and filed correctly.
• Collaborate with management team to meet inventory goals and objectives.
• Ensure timely replenishment of stock and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
• Organize and manage inventory storage areas.
• Conduct thorough inventory counts.
• Identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.

Education:

• H.S. Diploma or GED

Experience:

• Farm/Ag background desirable
• Prior forklift experience desirable but will train.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills required.
• Prior Retail Experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
• Cash Handling Experience
• Inventory experience desirable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to count and read basic English.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Punctual – Be on time for scheduled work.
• Lift and move a minimum of 60 pounds or more without assistance.
• Walk and bend.
• Stand for long periods of time.
