Job Overview:

Seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to lead project management, vendor collaboration, and deal execution at our Galena corporate office. Ideal candidates will have a background in mechanical, structural, or civil engineering, with proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD. Join us in delivering high-quality refractory systems and equipment to our clients.

Must Have:

• Experience with industrial furnaces.
• Experience with refractory systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) to develop detailed and precise engineering drawings.
• Create structural and mechanical designs that meet Merkle's stringent quality standards.
• Apply sound engineering principles to enhance the performance of refractory systems and equipment.
• Offer innovative ideas and solutions to optimize product efficiency and effectiveness.

Travel Requirements:

• 20% Travel

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Inventor
• Strong project management and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and customers.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with industrial furnaces.
• Experience in refractory systems
