Job Specifics

The OSF Cardiovascular Service Line is actively recruiting a board eligible/certified thoracic surgeon to join its team. The Thoracic Center of Excellence, established in 2003, has grown to include clinical research, publications, patient education resources, educational conferences, and collaborations with other institutions.

Responsibilities

Perform thoracic surgery procedures including tracheal resections, VATS lobectomies, esophagectomies, pneumonectomies, thoracoscopies, rigid bronchoscopies, and esophageal perforations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes.

Experience and Requirements

Board certification or eligibility in thoracic surgery.
Strong surgical skills and experience with complex thoracic cases.

Benefits

Competitive base salary: $500,000 - $700,000 per year.
4 weeks paid vacation and 6 paid holidays.
480 hours sick time/year.
