    Temp-to-Hire

    Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday

    Pay rate: $19/hr


    Some of your duties may include:

    • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operating all fill lines for waterborne and solvent-borne finishes, sealers, stains, maintenance products, etc.
    • Assist in the development of SOPs for new products and procedural improvements
    • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, as directed by preventative maintenance software
    • Maintain rework warehouse reworked product as directed by the Quality Control Department
    • Keep the production work area clean and adhere to the 5'S Housekeeping Standards (clean up spills immediately, throw refuse into appropriate cans, etc.)
    • Adhere to and strive to exceed operating efficiency standards
    • Follow all safety guidelines established by the company
    • Assist in other areas as directed
    • Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments
    • Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary
    • Contribute to the development and continual improvement of SHEQ Management Systems

    In this role, you will need to:

    • Be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the work shift
    • Must be able to bend, climb stairs, and continuously stand or walk for up to 75% of the work shift
    • Must be able to move within the office and plant to reach file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
    • Must be able to use dexterity to handle small safety equipment and/or hazardous material
    • Must be able to lift and carry 15-25 lbs. and frequently move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and also both written and verbal forms
    • Have a High School Diploma, equivalent work experience, or GED
    • Have 1-2 years work experience in manufacturing
    • Must possess basic math skills for calculating percentages, dilutions, ratios, averages, etc.
    • Must possess troubleshooting skills that can be utilized in daily work
    • Preventative maintenance experience of pumps and machinery and forklift experience is a plus
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, and be able to sit and squat throughout the day repetitively
