    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze expected demand and inventory to create weekly supply plans that meet customer needs. Ensure high fill rates and minimize inventory costs for AppleCare.
    • Implement weekly plans effectively to reduce future gaps and maximize inventory turnover.
    • Optimize inventory by adjusting system parameters to achieve service level targets and cost reductions.
    • Update ERP master data for parts planning at different plants and manage Engineering Change requests.
    • Resolve product backlogs and fill rate issues daily, identifying and addressing problem areas.
    • Collaborate with various teams to guarantee sufficient capacities and materials are available to meet supply demands.
    • Participate in weekly calls with teams from Europe and Asia-Pacific to coordinate regional and global supply-demand alignment.
    • Issue weekly factory forecasts and ensure communication of discrepancies and solutions.
    • Recognize opportunities for system improvements and collaborate with stakeholders and IT for implementation.

    Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with business acumen for quick operational decision-making.
    • Effective collaboration and communication skills to influence peers and senior management.
    • Expertise in supply chain management principles: forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
    • Proficiency in ERP planning tools like SAP, Oracle, etc.

    Requirements:

    • Preferred APICS certification.
    • Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain management, mathematics, engineering, or logistics.
    • Preferred MBA or Master's Degree in supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in forecasting, planning, purchasing, or inventory management.
    • Demonstrated success in achieving operational KPIs, project management, and initiatives.
    • Experience in the electronic product service supply chain is advantageous.
