We are currently looking for a dynamic and passionate Optical Team Member (Optician) to assist in managing all onsite events and customer/client relationships, while also performing some optical diagnosis duties (training provided).
WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL UP TO 1 HOUR AWAY REQUIRED
Our Optical Technician supports all mobile/onsite business. They help manage from the start of each onsite to when the job is fully completed for that client. § POSITION – OPTICAL TEAM MEMBER
§ HOURS – Full-time hourly hours per week)
§ LOCATION – Onsite/Mobile Locations (New onsite location each day)
§ STARTING PAY – D.O.E.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS –
§ Assist daily operations of all onsite client events, including all patient interactions.
§ Pre-Test and Tech Patients for Vision Exams (Trained by onsite staff).
§ Oversee daily operations of portable vision office. This includes being onsite for that mobile event.
§ Responsible for reviewing and documenting History of Present Illness and Chief Complaint.
§ Responsible for all visual testing and documentation.
§ Make complete and detailed report in Office Ally with notes and vision RX.
§ Pass Rx and other helpful information along to Onsite Sales Manager at the end of the exam.
§ Make appropriate glasses and/or contact lenses recommendations at the end of the exam.
§ Ensure results of testing are being communicated to Sales &Office Mgr. Immediately after the exam.
§ Create complete and detailed exam notes for OD to review.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS –
§ 1+ years' optical technician (or other applicable) experience
§ Assist in setup and takedown of vision onsite
§ Schedule/manage onsites with existing clients
§ Proven track record of exceeding targets and building a solid rapport with potential/existing clients
§ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills - you are a great relationship builder
§ Great with geriatric patients (loving, empathetic, light hearted, connects with, humor)
§ Detail oriented with excellent time management
§ Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
§ Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail
