Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements and analysis.
Cost accounting and analysis in a manufacturing environmentMaintain existing company accounting procedures and processes and develop procedures to improve department efficiencies.
Comply with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.Assist Finance Manager in preparing documents and interpreting complicated financial information for managers, executives.
Manage general ledger and assist month-end/year-end close processes, including review of journal entries and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, sales, and other departments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting3-5 years accounting experience required, preferably public accounting.
Manufacturing and ERP system experience preferred.
Proficiency with accounting softwareStrong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Ability to effectively communicate financial information with multiple levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsThis is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits packages.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities in FP&A as they develop their skills and experience.
