- Perform inter-oral procedures as directed by dentist.
- Take preliminary impressions for study models, remove sutures, place and remove rubber dams, perio-packs, matrix bands, and
wedges. - Operate dental X-ray equipment to take intra and extra-oral radiographs.
- Maintain, clean, and perform minor repairs on X-ray equipment and materials.
- Pour and trim model from impressions and construct custom impression trays.
- Obtain and record related medical history of patient, and route patient for medical tests and services when required.
- Sterilize instruments, materials, equipment, and prepare surgical trays.
- Pass instruments and materials to and from the dentist; keep area of operation clear using high speed evacuator, suction tip, and irrigation; and retract tissue, tongue and cheek.
