- The Office of the Spokane Tribal Attorney provides legal support to the Tribe's various governmental departments and businesses.
- The Staff Attorney works under the direction of the Tribe's General Counsel, who directs the Office of the Spokane Tribal Attorney (OSTA).
- OSTA advises the Tribal Business Council and the Tribe's government, its departments and agencies, and acts as the Tribe's Code Reviser.
- Experience in advising governmental and business entities in contracts, procurement and compliance issues are strongly preferred.
- Employment law experience also preferred, including human resources issues.
- Candidate must have graduated from an accredited law school.
- Minimum seven years of experience as a government lawyer with an emphasis on contracts, procurement and compliance or equivalent experience in private practice.
