    Position Overview:

    Take charge of all technical consultations related to the body-in-white and paint process for the Sprinter Van in the North American market. Key responsibilities include:

    • Implementing product changes and managing technical evaluations throughout production
    • Leading problem-solving efforts with international suppliers and local departments
    • Representing R&D functions at the production plant and supporting quality improvement processes
    • Independently planning and executing R&D activities, utilizing advanced methods and analysis
    • Managing product changes and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality standards
    • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to solutions with vendors
    • Participating in team meetings and leading task force sessions when needed

    Qualifications:

    Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience (or Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience). Key skills and knowledge:

    • Project coordination experience
    • Proficiency in body-in-white technologies

    Technical Skills:

    • Experience with Mercedes-Benz internal processes and systems
    • Proficiency in Siemens NX and Microsoft Office applications
    • German language fluency is preferred, Spanish knowledge is a plus
    • Analytical thinking, communication skills, and teamwork capabilities
