Description
Camp Wediko is hiring temporary Clinical Supervisors at their Windsor, New Hampshire location. Located on 450 lakefront acres, Camp Wediko is a six to eight-week residential summer camp serving youth with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges ranging in age from 8-18.
The Clinical Supervisor works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and is responsible for providing direct leadership, management, and supervision of their assigned cabin which includes both staff and students. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with guardians, residential staff, other program leadership team members, family therapists, and outside providers to ensure that youth are receiving the best treatment and care possible.
How You'll Be Making a Difference
Qualifications
Abilities Required
This position requires the ability to walk the rugged terrain of our outdoor campus, an active wooded setting. Clinical Supervisors will often be outdoors engaging in active recreational activities in the unpredictable summer seasonal elements of New Hampshire. This includes working in hot and humid temperatures and rain. The ability to bend, hold and lift is also required as indicated by behavioral management techniques. Employees are responsible for transportation to one of the pick-up and drop-off locations at the beginning and end of summer (Manchester airport, Boston Logan airport, or direct transport to and from campus). Clinical Supervisors are expected to participate in two weeks of training prior to child arrival day and a week following child departure day to allow time for documentation, debrief, and clean up of the physical campus.
Valuing Diversity
We are committed to excellence in diversity, equity, and inclusion, while simultaneously creating a culture that supports those values. We believe the differences we bring enhance our ability to provide exceptional service and care to diverse children, families, and communities. Moreover, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging align with our values and our mission to help vulnerable children and their families build permanent, positive change.
