    Bridge Inspection Engineer-Diver Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Bridge Inspection Engineer-Diver.

    This candidate must possess a team-oriented attitude and have a passion for working outdoors and producing quality engineering products. This position will serve as a Team Leader, directing the work of team members and coordinating with clients.
    Primary Responsibilities

    As Team Leader, perform bridge safety inspections for various Departments of Transportation including Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming as well as local government and private clientsPrepare comprehensive bridge inspection reports that detail bridge conditions and defects regarding the structural integrity of bridgesPerform as a Deputy Project Manager for bridge inspection projects


    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited universityProfessional Engineering Licensure (P.E.)4 years of engineering experience in bridge inspection or bridge designADCI diver certificationClear communication and organizational skills – both written and oralExcellent attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office products


    Additional Preferred Qualifications:
    NHI Course – Safety Inspection of In-Service BridgesNHI Course – Underwater Bridge InspectionCAD drafting skills (Bentley or AutoDesk Products)SPRAT Level 1 or higherAny additional NHI coursework

    Percentages of Job Duties:

    40% - Field Inspections60% - Field Inspection Reporting
