The Laboratory Service Rep is responsible for the proper collection and allocation of laboratory specimens in an environment that optimizes patient safety, and the accurate processing of patient demographic information and test orders.
The position is responsible for the retrieval and distribution of laboratory information for all patient, hospital, and physician customers of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital.
And also for the printing and distribution of all cumulative inpatient reports as well as for all Emergency Department and Outpatient reports.
