    Seeking 2 Sr level Java Developers, and 3 mid-level Java Developers, all positions are hands-on coding. Candidates should be in the 3-6-year experience range, and all should be comfortable with hands on coding positions.

    Need strong Core Java Developers (team is using version 11 currently). Strong OO programming.

    Spring Boot, Micro Services experience

    Cloud experience:
    this team is using the private cloud (cloud foundry). Candidates should be able to deploy applications on to a cloud platform.

    Kubernetes Experience Preferred, Should Understand Containers, Resiliency.

    Positions are long term contracts (estimated 18-24 months). They would like to have the RTH option (all 602 level), so US Cit / GC only. Positions will be based in Tampa (Brandon office) and onsite 3 days (M, Tu, Th). They will consider Chicago as a secondary work location, and they are open to relocation candidates.

    Interviews will consist of 1 onsite meeting.

    Candidates can interview at any of the Banking locations (NY/NJ, DE, TX, OH), if they are willing to relocate to Tampa or Chicago.

    The team is focusing on a two-phase project involved with ISO regulatory requirements for Global Payments.

    Soft skills:
    Sr candidates need to have Design experience and be strong communicators. Mid-level developers need to be self-sufficient and able to work in complex environment without constant supervision.

    Job Description

    Expert in Core Java and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g.,

    Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across business.

    Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset

    May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks

    Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill

    Strong understanding of techniques such as

    Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security

    Stays abreast of cutting edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business;

    may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles.

    Work with the product owner and the scrum team to understand product requirements

    Work with technical manager and the team to finalize the technical design and implementation requirements

    Participate the scrum ceremonies and represent the application dev team

    Participate with the leads of other job families and ensure the deliverables are met

    Represent the scrum team in leadership meetings

    Collaborate with the management on improving the skillset needs of the team
