- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
- Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking thats always up and running.
- Will join a talented team responsible for the companys IT performance in an infrastructure which spans multiple offices within different CONUS locations.
- Partner with applicable stakeholders to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
- The ideal candidate likes to automate processes, troubleshoot system issues, and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Security Clearance: A U.S. Government Secret level clearance is highly desired, but not required to start. Will be processed for a Secret clearance if do not have a current one; U.S. Citizenship required.
- 5+ years experience with System Administration with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- Experience with BASH, Python, or other scripting languages for automation and task orchestration in cloud environments.
- Extensive experience managing IT infrastructure in AWS environment.
- Hands-on experience with containerization platforms such as Docker.
- Experience managing IT systems including Linux and MacOS ensuring compliance with security requirements and NIST standards.
- Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols, with a strong understanding of security best practices based on NIST standards.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule out of our local office.
- Relevant IT Certifications are desired: AWS, Linux +, RCSA, Security +.
- Prior experience with Gitlab, JAMF, Google Workspace, Terraform.
- Knowledge of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
